Rugged Ridge 13505 04 Ultimate 1955 2010

These grab handles fit the bill perfectly. I mounted mine in the apparent emplacement above the driver and passenger seats. They fit utterly between the holes applied to attach the soft top door brackets, and don’t interfere with them or the soft top itself. No need to change the bar padding, they install on top of its There are definitely cheaper ones out there, but I can’t comment on those because I’ve never seen them in persons I liked the look of these because of the fabric between the velcro straps — it looks like they would do a better job resisting the tendency for the straps to slide toward each other when the handle is pulled on.

I bought these handles along with the Rugged Ridge 13305.14 Pillar Rear Side Grab Handles, which are an equally good resolution for the rear seats.

I was a small skeptical at introductory because of the low price, but I put these handles through a rough weekend and they passed with flying colors. I mounted them to the overhead bars in my Land Cruiser cage and they came in handy for both me and my passenger. What impressed me the most is that they did not slide on the bars at all. No matter what angle we pulled on them, they stayed put. I highly commend these handles whether or not you are looking for a set for your 4X4.

We bought these handles as a Christmas gift for our parents, who had just gotten a new Jeep wrangler. Our mother is regarding 5 feet, so it was a bit hard for her to enter and exit the vehicle. These handles genuinely aid her to get into and out of the car. They are sturdy, and have withstood a bit of pulling in the year since their installation.

Installing them is very easy as well. They were placed in a 2010 Wrangler (2 door soft top version).

This is a really solid item – I was really pleased. The handles are molded ergonomically and smooth. Velcro is strong and provides firm hold – I was skepticle of this item but am very please, it looks very sharp in my TJ.

I love these and would commend them to anyone! These handles are very sturdy and easy to install (3 velcro straps).

These are a welcome addition for girls attempting to step into your rig. They fare supposed to last but I feel that they may no be a rugged as they claim. Maybe that is just because of my size. But when I tested them with my weight they seemed to give a small too much for my taste. But then again I’m 6’4″ and I primarily got them for the passenger who will usually be a woman anyway. So overall I am pleased.

Arrived on time, and looks outstanding the wife loves it is It was ordered for her 2011 Wrangler so she would stop pulling on the steering wheel. Install was ok; I found it was requiring little effort to pull both sides of the top to modify the Velcro.

I’ve bought alike items online before and received an nearly paper thin, scarcely able to aid it’s own weight, ready-to-rip handle. This is NOT the case here is I bought this because I added a step up into my Jeep for my, at the time, pregnant girlfriend to get in and out of my Wrangler easier. This handle is great!

At first I was hesitant that this small piece would function as well as I hoped. Then I started to test it’s limits and found whether or not properly installed, it’s been competent of supporting a few hundred pounds without budging. I was genuinely hanging from one for as long as my hands could support me. This thing is swell whether or not you want an efficient way to assist with becoming into and out of your off-road vehicle. Now that I’ve been adding performance elements to my Wrangler, this handle is typically employed by others as a sense of security when I go a little too fast.

Installation is when it comes to as simple as it gets. Open package, unhook velcro, wrap around roll cage, and reattach. Reading the enclosed instructions would take more time than the install itself.

For the time expended and the money it cost, it’s become an valuable investment for me.

Easy install and quality material. fits great on a 2011 jeep wrangler sport and it only took a couple of minutes to attach to the roll cage.

these took a total of ten minutes to install on the jku. Just pull the top back. They seem strong and I was surprised. I would recommend them whether or not your looking for this type of grab handle.

Royal Purple 01320 Performance Transmission

Most persons adjust their motor oil regularly, but forget about the transmission fluid. I have a few collectible cars. I only use Royal Purple products. They are entirely synthetic, not a BLEND like some others, and they have a outstanding web web internetsite where you can find the EXACT liquid for your car’s transmission. so many people use the defective fluids. The transmission ought to last as long as your engine. The wrong liquid or not changing the liquid will ruin your transmission. I have utilized syhthetic fluids on my Toyota Camry for twenty years. It’s a 1990. Still the same engine and automatic transmission. I also use synthetic power steering and break liquid which I adjust each year. That’s why I use it on my other cars as well. Just be sure to check their site to be sure you are using the right liquid for your vehicle. That is a MUST!

Was having transmission slippage problems and a combination of stop leak fluid and Royal Purple ATF has cleared-up the problem for the last 3 months. Very pleased.

I put this fluid in my 2004 Hyundai Tiburon versus the recommendation of AAMCO transmission service. I was looking at servicing my transmission and asked whether or not they would flush this fluid into my systems The guy I talked to tried to tell me that this was a “trick” fluid and that my car would shift very hard and it was not commended for my car.

I went against his word based on the reviews of amazon, recommendations by royal purple, and my own instinct based on product specifications. After changing my fluid to Royal Purple I can say that this has made a phenomenal divergence in my car’s shifting. My car was not as smooth as it is now when I purchased it new 95,000 miles ago. I without a doubt would put it in my car again and will be changing in another 4 quarters in the next 30,000 miles. My car has constantly been a small choppy shifting since it is only a 4 speed, but with royal purple I can’t even feel it shift. To think that AAMCO told me it would make my car shift hard infuriates me.

I highly recommend this fluid for your vehicle if it meets specifications.

Replaced the “nasty nissan matic fluid” with this in the transmission and also applied it in the power steering and transfer case in my 2005 nissan titan.

Noticed an betterment for the duration of shifts in the gears, everything runs smoother! I use all of Royal Purple’s productions and they are exceedingly reliable and I highly recommend them.

The Royal Purple oils are about the best racing oils i have used. Even in normal every day use cars. They do everything they arrogate to do.

No major alter in performance. I am waiting until i do an oil adjust to carry out another milage check. I also put RP gear oil in my rear end. I cannot see spending the $$$$ if there is no direct performance result. I will post back when I do my oil change.

My Borg Warner/Tremec T5 manual transmission in my 2002 Chevy Camaro calls for an ATF because of the narrow galleys. I could have used their other oil but stuck with an primary ATF for sake of argument. Ordered 3 quarts and had to pick 1 up locally. Great oil.

Vht Sp184 Clear Wheel Paint

I bought this paint to paint my rims on my car. I followed the direction according to the back of the may and the wheels came out great. I bought 2 cans of clear for four 17in wheels and that did 2 light coats and one wet coat. The clear made the wheels even glossier, which is what i was looking for. I feel that this paint is far supior to others. The easy spray nozzle is also swell may causes less fatigue. I reccommend VHT wheel paint clear to all. Time will only tell how it holds up, i will write again in time and review more. Thanks

I utilized VHT Paint (Primer, Satin Black, and Clear) to restore my motorcycle wheels which had over 100,000 miles on them and looked finelooking beat up.

I really like working with VHT spray paint and is my primary choice for a number of dissimilar applications from brake constituents to engine blocks. So when I was looking for paint to restore my wheels, I turned to VHT.

This paint spray nicely – and dries to the touch in 30 minutes. They suggest two light coats followed by one medium coat permitting 10 minutes in amidst coats. All coats will have to be applied within 1 hour. Any additional coats after the one hour – you need to wait 7 days for the paint to cure.

This is about the only spray paint I have found that you can really use rubbing compound to polish out the final coat and achieve a really smooth, glossy surface. My wheels look like brand new

Great for protecting. However, it is not clear. It goes on a light gray and polishes to a glossy smooth surface, but not clear. Great for adding a protective shell as long as you are not putting it over color.

I utilized this after spraying my wheels with a base silver. The shine was beauteous good, but I most likely ought to have sprayed the clear coats “wetter” than usual. It seems that the more you put on the painted object, the better the sheen. Good clear coat overall. I’d use it again.

Lucas 10009 Transmission Fix Oz

My 2002 Jeep has regarding 111k miles and it started the death slips.. Just giant jumps when I quickened I took it in and the fix shop charged me $100 to tell me that I would need a transmission rebuild. The price tag was with regards to $2500. I wasn’t ready to recompense that so I started doing such a lot of research. I found Lucas and all I can say is it saved my wallet a tremendous blow.

I replaced the transmission liquid and added this whole bottle right into the transmission fluid. My Jeep feels better than it did the day I purchased it is Smooth shifting, even when I tried to make it slip.

Even altho it isn’t a cure, it sure has limited the sensations or changes and does everything it advertises.. I would commend this to anybody with any car, at any point in it’s life.

Have an mistreated ’03 impala 3.8V6 (130k+ miles) that started hard shifting/slipping. Turned out to be a sticking/worn valve. Removed 48 ounces of liquid and replaced with two bottles of this Lucas treatment and the problem has yet to return and it has been a 2 months and 4,000 miles. After two months I changed the trans liquid and filter (adding a bottle of this treatment to the substitute alternate and all is still well.

March 2012 update: Over 3 years and at 170,000 miles and still no problems.

My daughter has a 1997 Ford Escort with automatic transmission. It was starting to hard shift frequently. We drained the old transmission liquid and added a bottle of lucas conditioner. It eliminated in regards to 90% of the hard shifting. Highly recommend

I bought this at my local auto elements store and poured it in. I had just done a transmission flush about 4 days earlier and since then the transmission was slipping and I felt a loss of power. I can say that I immediately felt more power in my 1995 Buick Regal (125,000 miles) after using this. Additionally it limited my slipping. I have never applied a transmission additive before, but I will use a bottle with each transmission flush I do from now on. The bottle said you will have to feel results immediately and I really did. I highly recommend this merchandise

I brought my 2000 Mitsubishi Montero Sport, with automatic transmission, to an auto shop to get my transmission inspected because it was slipping. Well they told me they found metal shavings and burnt fluid in the tranny and that I needed to have it rebuilt. Of course they were going to charge $3700. So I told them to put oil back in it because I didn’t want them to rebuild its Anyway, I came throughout Lucas Transmission Fix and poured 3/4 of the bottle in and now my car works GREAT!!! It now runs smooth and shifts great. No more slipping and it changes gears with easy. I am in total shock and relief.

Just thought I would share my experience with this products I am happy with the results I received. I was once searching through the product reviews to see if this was something I might want to try.. I bought a 94 Saturn with high miles just as my commuter car. I drive 100 miles a day and when I would put my car in Reverse occasionally it would slam into gear after assorted seconds. The shifting was very noticable and annoying. I put in half a bottle before I repelled the next day and it has never shifted like that ever since. I am happy! as well it helped my car to shift smoother.. from time to time I dont even recognise it shifts anymore.. I found myself waiting for it to slam into gear the other day but after several seconds I realized it had already shifted into reverse and I didnt even feel it! It has been over 2 months and I have not had a hard shift… It was occuring daily before.

I have a JDM Mitsubishi Galant VR4 that the automatic transmission was giving upset upset shifting & mis-shifting & slipping). About two years ago,the car was in an accident. Fast forward to July 2009, I at long last got the body repaired & started the car for the initial time, the transmission would not even move the car! I added Lucas 10009 Transmission Fix 24 oz. to the old transmission fluid & the transmission started working, not perfective but satisfactorily. My mechanic was surprised & so am I. I plan to flush the transmission & refill with premium ATF & add some more Lucas.

I in addition employed Lucas 10008 Power Steering Stop Leak 12 oz. on my leaking power steering scheme & that works outstanding too.

Lucas 10008 Power Steering Stop Leak 12 oz.

Thanks Lucas…

Lucas is the S–T ! I have a 99 Saturn SC9 (215,000 miles) I drive it on my route, the side by the shifter is perpetually hot from the Transmission. It says on the bottle good for heat dissapation too. Added 1 bottle when I changed fluid……sure nuff, feels just a tad warm, and this after driving 8 hours.

I have as well employed this in the past in my power steering, years ago in another car I had a bad bad leak, stop leak will not work at all, reg fluid just went right out after a day. I was facing a major $$ replacement job. A guy told me to add Lucas to it, being its a thick pastey like fluid, I did it aned it slowed the leak down to a week. very much drivable and saved me large $$ too.

The Lucas upper cylinder cleaner is swell too…….it will actually improve your MPG when its in the car and cleans prob better than any other cleaners. I am a believer in Lucas products.

I’ve been running Lucas in my last eight or nine vehicles. The old clunkers get it to recover lost performance, and the newer costly vehicles I have, it served as a preventive maintenance procedure to prevent problems. IT DOES PREVENT PREMATURE WEAR TOO!

I had a one ton Chevy straight side pick up truck that I utilized at work for patrolling. This is a lot of low speed stop and go use on the transmission. Using this product held that truck tight and the fluid in very good condition.

I’ll keep using this product in all my automatic transmissions. I’m very happy with this product.

I purchased this product, after it was commended to me. I employed it in my 99 ford escort, after I had the fluid, filter and a flush done two times. The product worked immediately. Every shift is silky smooth and quick now. I also used this in my mothers new, 2010 ford fusion 4cyl. It had an issue with shifting too slow and kicking into certain gears. Now it shifts fast and smooth. No more kicks. I’d recommend this to anyone.

Lucas 10013 Fuel Treatment Gallon

I have a 2008 Silverado truck with over 125,000 miles that started to idle rough. I in addition noticed that the fuel economy had dropped when it comes to one mile per gallon. I tried this product and within a few tanks of gas, the rough idle was importantly diminished and I was back to my regular MPG. The truck unquestionably runs smoother, and that is the greatest plus from this product, so far.

So, the “check engine” light came on two of our vehicles, 1) 1998 Dodge Dakota truck V6 with 175K 2) 1999 Honda Accord V6 with 145k. I figured it was the O2 sensor on the truck and I was a bit trouble with the Honda as we had just paid for a full tune up and then the darn “check engine” light came on. Prior to the tune up on the Honda we were experiencing hesitation when stepping on the gas from a stop, local oil alter place suggested a fuel injector cleaning, we did that which helped somewhat. Full tune helped even more, but then the light came on.

While waiting for a oil alter at W-mart I saw this product on the shelf, I figured it couldn’t injure and added 3oz to both fuel tanks on the Dakota and the Honda. I just drove in regards to a quarter of a tank on the truck and when I started it up this afternoon the “check engine” light was gone! I called my daughter who now has the Honda and she said light and the hesitation is to the full or entire extent gone!

I went to their web site and read such a heap of of the other reviewers of their product and certain sufficient others have experienced the same thing with clearing up their “check engine” light, so I’m sold on this stuff for sure!

My 2002 Olds ECOTEC 2.2 gets better mileage and fewer piston ring wear metals in the oil samples. My 2008 Taurus X 3.5 V6 gets regarding the same mileage notwithstanding engine knock below stress is gone on the cheap gas. I believe this product makes the 87 octane gas more stable and decreases your piston ring wear. Gas mileage improvement is more noticeable in my littler higher revving engine. As for injector and fuel pump life extension, I’ll have to see as I plan to run these cars into the ground.

No mileage improvement on new car.

I purchased this for PM and actually didn’t anticipate and increase in mileage. Based on all the reviews I believe this will keep my new car running like new for a long time.

My car has two MPG meters built in. I started using this additive after break-in at 6,000 miles. I drive the same route to work everyday. I did not have any measurable adjust in mileage… Not surprised since the car is new.

The engine is definitly quieter in the morning when 1st started (cold start). (I begin the motor in the garage with my window open, so all the engine sounds are amplified)

I will carry on to use this additive to prevent fuel scheme difficultnesses and offset the negative effects of methanol…

Thanks for all the reviews.

I purchased such a heap of of this to use in a car that I had installed a K&N intake on. It is a 3.8 liter 6 cylinder that does not have a supercharger, but the supercharged version requires premium fuel. After installing the intake and filter my car would ping using normal unleaded fuel. This limited that problem in the primary tank of gas. I then noticed I was becoming substantially better gas mileage. I keep track gorgeous well on my gas mileage, it has increased range by when it comes to 10-15% on three cars, 1 motorcycle and cleans up the gunk in my lawnmower. This oil is very handy as an octane booster and engine cleaner. A cleaner engine runs more expeditiously and then tends to get better gas mileage. One gallon will treat 400 gallons of fuel. buy it by the gallon and save a lot over the 5.25 ounce bottles at truck stops. I will be using this from now on in all of my gas and diesel engines. This is not actually being sold as a gas saver but that is an added benefits Engines will last longer with this oil. The only thing that will have to be on the label or bottle is a scale for the number of ounces. I use the 5.25 ounce bottles to meter it into gas tanks and fill off of the gallon jug. Buy four gallons and you get a good price break on shipping for a full case. Get a friend to split the cost and you are set for the next 800 gallons of fuel.

I have been using Lucas merchandise for years now. I had a 1999 Nissan Maxima that I bought new. The Lucas line of merchandise retained my car running great outstanding than new) the entire time I owned the car. Once my car had hit about 5 years old, everytime I took that car in for an oil change, the mechanics would constantly offer to buy it from me. They couldn’t believe how clean the fuel system and engine was. I only used Lucas fuel and the oil treatment for the entire life of the car. I had that car 10 years. The engine, fuel system, and transmission had never been touched by a mechanic.

Bought our 2001 Chevy Venture minivan new and have used Lucas from the beginning. After 73,000 miles engine runs very smooth, and whether or not I try I may coax over 28 mpg on trips. Have retained all gas receipts since new and have records that show 22.8 mpg overall since new with 90% suburban Chicago driving. Best ever was just over 31 mpg on a 150 mile trip while staying at the speed limit, which of course blocks traffic, but gives good mileage. All measurements made with a Scangauge. I can never be sure, but I think Lucas helps.

I have never personally seen an increase in gas mileage by using this product but I constantly fill my car with quality gasoline. I have seen some cars that have benefited primarily by using a fuel system cleaner and conditioner but never my won vehicle. I use the product as preemptive maintenance and has always performed to my expectations.

I highly recommend this merchandise

My high performance car calls for 93 octane. the Lucus Fuel Treatment keeps my car from pinging on cheap regular gas with the same power as high test, hopefully all while holding the interior engine clean

Great value for the price!! I’ve found this does ameliorate gas mileage and time will tell if it assists the fuel injectors.

Red Line 50304 Manual Transmission

I had put in royal purple in my trans didn’t like it to slick 3rd gear wanted to grind a little when cold in the morning. The redlline mt-90 much better the trans feels a lot smoother. When I start it up in the morning it will go right into reverse with out clutching it first. Before I perpetually had to put it in neutral and let the clutch out once before it would go into reverse very good gear oil.I think it would be hard to find a better one.

I’ve been a longtime Redline lubricants fan because of their high quality and specific properties of the products themselves. In this case, (MT-90) the key property is to provide sufficient friction between gearshifts to concede the synchronizers to slow down and provide smooth gearshifts. This is not an easy task to carry out while still lubricating and being slippery enough to provide a consistent oil film, lubricity, resistance to thermal breakdown and long liquid life. If you have an older transmission that’s becoming more unmanageable to shift, Redline MT-90 may improve it and extend the time before a rebuild is necessary.

Great oil! It made a big difference in my 92 Nissan 240sx. It also may of been because the gear oil hadn’t been changed in a while. The old oil looked black like coffee with metal shavings! Either way shifting is way smoother now with the MT-90. If you’re on the fence on getting this I say do it! It’s GL-4 just what the service manual said my tranny required. If you put GL-5 it may mess with the synchros inside the tranny. Just get this and have peace of mind.

My Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V is one of those with a transmission that grinds going into 2nd. (and perchance other gears at times.) This smooths out the shifting just fine. It is genuinely smooth and easy without any grinding.

Highly recommended!

I’ve utilized quite a few dissimilar gear oils in my car over the years but am happy I ultimately settled on this redline. I was having major difficulties with my MT before swapping to this even to the point of suspecting bad synchros or a bad clutch but alas it is now like driving a new car all over again. The gears are super easy to shift into and out of now and as a bonus my transmission seems a bit quieter overall. I highly commend this to anyone, it is well worth the cost.

It seems to be working fine in my NV4500 transmission, no difficultnesses so far. One bottle had leaked half of it’s contents out into the box that it was shipped in however, which could have been prevented had there been any packing peanuts or something along those lines that would have prevented the bottle from getting it’s top smashed to the point that it leaked.

I was in need of a GL-4 Transmisson oil for my Nissan Frontier 5 speed crew cab and no one in town carried a GL-4 oil.

I did such a heap of research and it took me to the Redline brand.

Changed out old with this and very please with shifts and noise.

I have a 1995 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo and replaced the 5-speed manual transmission liquid with this product and it cured my grinding of the synchros totally.

This is the second time I’ve employed MT90 in my Mazdaspeed3. It definitely smooths shifting, esp. in cold weather. After 30,000 miles on the first fill I begun noticing whining noise on sharp turns (as others have reported) and when I at last put new Redline in the noise has completely vanished. There are other alternatives, but I’ll stick with Redline.

Flasher Module Motorcycle Scooter Rearalert

I installed this on my 2004 Honda Shadow VT750 Aero. It works great! It flashes in regards to six times and steady on the seventh. Not fast, and it is not slowing it’s just right.

Installation: I utilized connectors to go on the ends of the input and the output wires of the device as well as the ends of the cut positive wire that went straight to my brake light. I then soldered the wire unto the connectors. The reason for the connectors was so whether or not the device stops working I may merely disconnect it and connect the positive wire directly to the brake light. only had to cut one wire). With the ground wire, I applied a terminal connector so that it would connect straight to the negative on the battery; that way I wouldn’t have to mess with any more wires (sodered the wire to the metal wire to the connector also). Soldering is not necessary, but I did so so the wires wouldn’t be secure. Hope these the review and instructions helps

I chose this peculiar one because like the other reviewer said, it’s the most inexpensive one. I had a hard time installing it b/c of my own ignorance in electronics, but later just came upon I hadn’t tapped the wires well. The connection was loose. After fussing with it for 2 hrs, I at last got it working. If I were to do it again, it would take no more than 30 minutes including taking my scooter detached to access the wires. The product itself works well as advertised. The only function it’s missing is the ability to reset and continue flashing while stopped. Perhaps this wasn’t what it was designed for, but it would be a nice touch.

Installation is supereasy. Ground wire goes to ground. Cut the brake light wire on your bike and connect the red wire from this modulator to one end and the white wire to the other end. Done. Easy and I’m not even close to be an electrician of any sort. I’d commend this product to any individual looking to enhance safety while riding their scooter/motorcycle.

The flasher module is approx 1-inch square with a mounting tab. The little size must provide plenty of mounting options. I had no problems mounting it underneath the seat of my cruiser using tie-wraps. The electronics is encased within epoxy, which IMO is a benefit in regards to high vibration applications and heat dissipation. It works incisively as described… 6 flashes and then steady on. The small diagram that’s on the module ought to be disregarded due to being incorrect. All you need to do is follow the instructions on the sheet that’s inside the package. Black goes to ground, red goes to the 12v that fed the brake light (it gets spliced), and white goes to the side of the splice that’s connected to the brake filament. I utilized four insulated bullet connectors and used the male and female connectors in a specific configuration so that I may without apparent effort rule out the module (in case of failure) and effortlessly get things back to factory. I can’t tell you regarding longevity yet but it looks like the module has a 4-amp max rating. The brake filament in a typical brake lamp draws approx 2.1 amps, so my logic tells me that the module running at 50-percent of its max rating, combined with average intermittent usage, should translate into good longevity but that remains to be seen. For the money spent, and what I’ve seen so far, I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this particular brake light control module. From Canada to PA took 4-days… no complaints.

As advertised & delivered very timely.

Don’t be put off by the ridiculously high freight charge – after all, the item is ridiculously underpriced & the bottom line is it costs fewer that any other. Blink rate not adjustable but it’s precisely what I wanted – blink six times in regarding 2 seconds, go steady, then without delay reset for next tap of the brake. You may get it TT&L for $20 direct from Kapsco if you’ve got PayPal (I don’t).

Works better than I thought! Great product! Installed it in fewer than 10 Minutes. A couple of snips and I was done.

There are some more out there far more pricey and no more effective. This one works and is easily installed.

works as advertised. very easy to install. just add bullet connectors so that if the flasher stops working you can just reconnect the stock wires for the brake lights to work again. the manufacturer should include the connectors already. will commend this definitely as an added safety/visibility widgets

We use this for the third brake light on the pick up truck. What a difference, its a real attention getter and a good safety feature.

I installed this after a driver nearly rear ended me on an off ramp on my motorcycle. Obviously wasn’t paying attention and almost took me out. So did some research at home and found that brake light modules were the best way to go to get the other drivers attention. So I looked at motorcycle merchandising stores online and they were 50 dollars and up. Found this one inexpensively priced on Amazon and took a danger and bought it is Thought it would just be a cheap circuit board pressed into a box that would just rattle apart and fail. Well, I’m happy to report I was wrong! This thing is genuinely epoxied into the box so no worry’s on it falling apart! Great product at an lowpriced pricey The shipping was a little steep but still fewer then what you will compensate for a comparable modulator at another retailers Seems to be doing it’s job, been six months and no close calls to report. Awesome product! Buy It!

Easy to install. It is small enough to fit behind the brake light reflector. It does wake up the cage drivers. I have one on both of my bikes. You can not beat the costly

Duracell D2a Battery Maintainer Charger

I wanted a charger to keep my car battery charged (but not overcharged!) while I am absent on multi-week trips. So far the Duracell 2 Amp charger seems to be working well.

It is a three-stage charger. The specification says that depending on the current state of the battery, it will do a fast charge to around 80%, then a slower charge to virtually full, then at last move to a lower voltage “floating” charge to keep the battery near 100% without overcharging.

I used a multimeter to watch the charging process. My battery was for the most part full to begin with, so the charger started charging at 14.1 volts (the slow charge mode) and then after a few hours moved to 12.7 volts (for the drifting drifting These both seem suitable voltages. In particular, the drifting voltage of 12.7 volts ought to be safe for long-term battery maintenance.

After about two days on drifting charge, my charger’s red charging light at long last went off. Over the next couple of weeks, when I checked the charger, the red charging light was largely off but I sometimes noticed it on. It looks like the charger is moving amongst off and floating charge as needed for sustained maintenance.

I’ll have to see how the charger holds up underneath long-term use, but so far everything looks good.

Update November 2010: I’ve been using this for two years now and I proceed to be very happy with it is It’s pleasant to come back from a four week absence to a entirely charged car battery, with zero hassles!

I use this with my classic motorcycles and it’s taken a beating. Gotten soaked and dried out. Fallen to the concrete floor on such a heap of occasions, and it’s still running like a swiss watch.

All the connectors are outstanding too.

This product is great!! It in addition has a low price.

I purchased this for the cold winters here in Iowa. I have older cars they are 96, 92, 01. I just connect them through the lighter option connection and switch them each day.

My cars perpetually get started now. No difficulties at all.

This charger/maintainer is perfective for older cars that tend to lose their charges for the duration of cold sub zero cold nights.

Would highly recommend!!!

Product works as described. Connect and forget. Plenty of connection options,I peculiarly liked the connector covers on the ring terminal connectors.

I have assorted chargers already, but decisive to pick one up for $10 for the duration of a holiday special. The D2A is a rebranded unit made by Xantrex Technologies ([...]) Nowhere on the box or in the manual does it mention being a microprocessor controlled unit (only on Amazon description). Also on the back of the box it mentions being a 3 stage charger, but genuinely it is only 2 stages (bulk/float). The float voltage seems high, compared to my Yuasa charger – I hope that doesn’t harm the battery. This charger will cycle on and off each 5 min or so in float mode (probably ok). When it goes into float mode, the red LED does not shut fully off, but has a faint glow. Also, when connecting the leads to the battery, there is definitive sparking sometimes, which means it is pumping current out on introductory connection (A high quality microprocessor controlled charger will do a “soft start” with no sparking.

I just picked up a SEM-1562A (Aug 2010) and so far it works better than the D2A (better build quality, three LED status lights with more status modes including blinking LEDs). It has a soft begin feature and does not spark on connecting to battery.

The Cigarette Plug/Power Outlet Plug is the best feature. Most battery retainers come with clamps needing the user to open the hood and clamping the leads to the battery and a body parts This unit plugs directly into the cigarette lighter/power outlet. As the amperage is dandier than the drain on the battery (the battery is perpetually draining because it is hooked up to the car), the electrical flow goes toward the battery and it keeps to a complete degree charged! No brainer to applied Note: whether or not the power light does not light up when it is plugged into the AC send it back right way via Amazon.com return.

The battery charger works fine but the little print tells you to disconnect the charger when the battery is fully charged. That isn’t what I bought a “Battery Maintainer” for. I wanted to set it and forget it till I needed the vehicle that was being charged. What I ended up doing is putting the charger on a timer and let it charge the battery for 4 hours a day. That retained the charge up to where it would begin the car even after sitting for a long amount of time of time.

Use this on my ’96 Porsche 993. I actually don’t acknowledge how other 911s of that vintage are, but my peculiar money pit…er, I mean ‘car’…is notoriously cruel to batteries, draining them down to not one thing if the car sits for more than a week. The Duracell went into service almost two years ago and it’s been as close to a godsend as I’ve ever experienced in the upkeep of this car. Definitely been well worth its modest price.

The lighter socket connection is how I connect this trickle charger to the car, and it’s great. No fussing with the trunk carpet (the battery of a 911 is up front, underneath the carpeting) or being heedful feeding the wires out of the trunk when I latch down the lid (both the trunk light and cabin lights will stay on unless the lid is completely and properly latched in place). The convenience factor is simply immeasurable. Definitely this maintainer has been one of the best buys I’ve ever made for the car.

Make sure that you comprehend what a trickle charger is before you purchase this, expecting it to revive a dead battery. This item is quiet, works as advertised, compact, cool to the touch. Instructions were adequate. I use the connection to the cigarette lighter, and it works just great – no hassle with an open hood, etc. I use it on my Porsche, which means that the battery is not directly accessible for any of the other connection options anyway.

A perfect option for someone who doesn’t use the car for a few weeks and needs a “connect and forget” approach to holding the battery viable.

Motorcycle Gloves Carbon Kevlar Leather

These gloves are great. I love the carbon fiber knuckles. They fit outstanding the initial time I wore them; no break-in period. I normally wear a large, but ordered an XL and they fit just right. There is just enough padding in the palm to keep my hands from hurting after a couple of hours or riding. The materials and workmanship seem adequate to concede the gloves to last a long time. I am very satisfied.

I bought these Motorcycle Mesh and Leather Race Gloves. They came in nicely packed. I have to say I am finelooking much impressed within introductory few hours when I used them. They have Kevlar sheet in palm. I pressed the palm area and I could feel it theres It simply boosted my selfassurance in the product i just bought. What else i could desire isolated from maximum safety and competitory pricing. it is just like a wish come true.

Pros:

1. Best combining of low price and top quality.

2. Over all ventilation work very well and their fit is just right too.

3. Light weight, I love the feel and it is solid fit of these gloves.

4. Comfortable to wear with splendid grip while riding.

5. Season friendly as it is a combination of both; leather and mesh.

Cons:

1. Haven’t been competent to find one in the product’s list yet.

This is the best warm weather glove I’ve owned. It genuinely could sell for 2 or 3 times more than what you compensate here at Amazon. Fits swell is comfortable and has alot of protective features.

The gloves i bought came right away i’m very satisfied with this productions I may have gotten a size to small as they ripped a small bit on me the initial week i had them but sense then they have been fine. I’d buy from this marketer again

Great product, magnificent value for money, very comfortable (suggest you order a more prominent more prominent seems solid enough, time will tell… very pleased!

I was looking for a nice pair of summer riding gloves and these fit swell and look very nice.

I like the extra armor and the feel of air movement on the back of your hand.

I purchased these gloves a birthday present for my father. They are beautiful nice, and comfortable. However, what I did and what I am glad I did was order a size larger, usually I am a big but this time I purchased an extra large and it fits my hand perfectly. Also, this package came VERY fast, I was a bit worried because my father was going to leave on Friday out of the country. ordered on the 24th and the expected deliverance date was the 2nd but I obtained it today ( 27th ) so I require to give props to Jackets4Bikes for that!

I purchased these gloves for my husband. He decisive he wanted gauntlet gloves so I returned them for the same kind, only longer. They are swell gloves, my husband is very pleased with them. The company is great to work with, interchange was easy.

Put on about 12 timies in 3 weeks and the elastic cuff has shreded where it is stitched to the velcro and where its stiched to the back of the hand. Ripped all over 2 inches. Also, got XL and they are actually only what I would call L. I recognise bike gloves are cut tight, but these are really tight. Could be the pulling on, coupled with the overly tight fit streesed the knit fabric. On the positive, they breath well and grip on controls is good.

Mine have come apart at the seam while I was doing me motorcycle training course. First time I wore them the seam on the wrist came apart. Also the palm have very little protection ought to you see asphalt. I would not recommend these.
